Petrofac to Resume Operations in mid June

Tunisian-British oil exploration and energy development company, Petrofac, will resume its activities in mid June, after having been closed since the end of April 2016 due to a sit-in staged by workers of local environment companies, Tunis Daily News reported. The decision was taken at a working session on the state of development in Kerkennah in the city of Sfax.

Mongi Marzouk, Minister of Energy and Mining, pledged job contracts for university graduates in public companies where they work to be recruited later. According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, another proposal was made to hire workers of environmental companies in a service company that will be financed by oil firms operating in the archipelago.
