MIDOR Receives Facility Suitability Certificate for Fire Prevention Requirements

The Middle East Oil Refinery (MIDOR) has been granted a Facility Suitability Certificate for meeting fire prevention requirements. The certificate was officially handed over to Amr Lotfy, MIDOR Chairman and Managing Director, by Mohamed Atallah El-Deeb, Director of the Civil Protection Department in Alexandria Governorate.

This comes as part of MIDOR’s efforts to implement the fifth pillar of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ strategy, which focuses on creating a safe working environment by upholding the highest standards of occupational safety, health, and environmental protection.

During the ceremony, Lotfy presented the key aspects of MIDOR’s recently executed plan to comply with civil protection requirements. He emphasized that this plan was developed through coordination with occupational safety and health officials at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).
