Kuwait Petroleum Corp (KPC) has signed an agreement with an international firm securing the long-term supply of liquid natural gas (LNG), Reuters reported.

During his statement, Kuwaiti Oil Minister, Bakheet Al-Rashidi, did not confirm the identity of the company but described it as a leading player in the LNG sector.

He affirmed that the agreement would help KPC keep up with rising demand for power generation in the country.
