Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) is preparing 25 projects for the company’s bidding plan in fiscal year (FY) 2019/20, Arab Times reported citing Al-Anba.
KNPC plans to construct the second batch of new gas stations over 50 years, as well as reconstructing seven new gas stations for the company.
The company is targeting to launch the consultancy project for the new local marketing warehouse in Al-Mutla’a with a duration of around 13 months, and the construction of a new building in the Shuwaikh area, in addition to debuting another huge contract that includes the implementation, construction and design of a pipeline to transport cooking gas from the Ahmadi refinery to Umm Al-Aish area.
“There are other contracts related to the safety of the company’s pipelines, which link the company’s refineries with Ahmadi and Sabhan reservoirs, as well as consultancy services for the feasibility study of the surface drainage system and the alteration and modernization of the fence at Ahmadi and Mina Abdullah refineries,” a source told the Kuwaiti newspaper.
