Finland to Invest EUR 850M to End Energy Dependence on Russia

The Finnish government announced on Thursday that it would invest up to EUR 850 million to ensure sufficient energy supplies and move away from reliance on Russian energy, Reuters reported.

Mika Lintila, Minister of Economic Affairs of Finland, stated that the country will also construct a floating LNG terminal with Estonia to end gas imports from Russia.
