Egyptian engineering, construction, and procurement (EPC) company Enppi and Egyptian Petroleum company Petrojet have completed 60% of their natural gas network expansion project in Jordan, Al Ahram reported.

The project will be finished next October, Egyptian Minister of Petroleum Tarek El-Molla said in a press statement during a visit to Jordan.

During the trip, Egypt and Jordan agreed to promote cooperation, training and expertise in natural gas and petroleum.

Talks were also held between El Molla and Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Hala Zawati in which they discussed the Egyptian-Jordanian FAJR for Natural Gas Transmission and Supply Company’s role in developing Jordan’s natural gas industry.
