The Egyptian Maintenance Company (San Masr) intensifies its activities in the Egyptian petroleum sector.

The company finalized the implementation of its projects with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation in the Ras Ghareb concession area in the Red Sea. The projects include the maintenance of several fields, with a total investment of $24 million.

EMC concluded also a jet-fuel station project for Burg Al-Arab in Alexandria and Suhag Airport, worth $40-million investments.

EMC is a joint venture between the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation and the Norwegian Aibel.

Besides, the company is currently implementing a solar energy project with the Spanish Company Iberdola, which will provide thermal cooler for generating solar energy.

According to an official source at the company, EMC will release a new bid round for the maintenance of the under-ground.
