El Molla Attends Youth Conference

Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, attended the Energy Between Challenge and Achievement session at the 4th Youth Conference held in Alexandria, reported Akhbar El Youm Newspapser.

The oil and gas sector is working on infrastructure projects, including Sumed pipeline, and establishing warehouses in several areas, as well as refineries that will be finalized by 2030 to enable the country to refine petroleum for other countries, El Molla explained during the conference, according to Al Youm7.

The petroleum sector has executed several refining projects, developed ports’ infrastructure, and ended the butane crisis. Additionally, the petroleum ministry managed to add 33% of the Egyptian households to natural gas grid during the last 3 years, El Molla pointed out.

The Energy Between Challenge and Achievement session started on July 24 as part of the Youth Conference that was launched on the same day by the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El Sisi. The session was further attended by the Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Mohamed Shaker, Al Shourouk News informed.
