Egypt discusses cooperation with German technological companies to develop petrochemical and refining complexes, said Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum, according to Amwal Al Ghad.
El Molla stated that Egypt has many opportunities for German cooperation after the recent economic reforms, especially in the field of energy, which attracted $10 billion investments in 2018.
Egypt represents a success story for German companies working in natural gas, El Molla pointed out, adding that the two countries have had a long partnership in the natural gas field.
The minister’s comments came during the 5th meeting of the joint economic committee, held on February 4th in Cairo.
