Egyptian Company for Mineral Resources (ECMR) Chairman Hany Mostafa stated that the company’s revenues recorded an increase of 36%, equivalent to EGP 92 million, reaching EGP 1,098 billion during the fiscal year (FY) 2023/24.
This came during the general assembly meeting of the company attended by the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi, to discuss and approve the results of the FY 2023/24.
Additionally, ECMR’s total sales of phosphate; the main product of the company, reached 546,000 tons increasing by 61,000 tons compared to the plan.
During the meeting, Badawi emphasized the ministry’s commitment to promote investment in this vital sector by creating an attractive environment for investors
He also directed the leaders of the company to develop a plan with specific objectives and a future vision to be implemented over the next five years, affirming his support to achieve this plan.
