Dana Gas signed a Software as a Service contract (Saas) with AGR software team in order to supply latest version of AGR P1™ software, according to AGR Official Website.
P1™ software will be implemented on Dana Gas’ operated concession in Egypt, North El Arish (Block-6) concession area, which is located in Nile Delta, with the first exploration well to spud in the fourth quarter 2017 or the first quarter of 2018, oil voice reported.
“P1™ software helps its users to improve the accuracy of well time and cost modeling and can be applied for all drilling and well related operations, including completions and interventions,” AGR stated.
“Dana Gas selected P1™ as [its] key decision making tool for well cost, time and operational risk analysis. P1™ increases [Dana Gas] productivity in well planning, and combined with CT™, [which] allows it to closely track and forecast well costs as operations progress. The new cloud-based version provides instant access anywhere you have access to a web browser,” Engineering Lead at Dana Gas, Jim O’Hare, said.
“Dana Gas is the latest in a number of leading E&P companies to select P1™ and we look forward to working with them. Collaboration, flexibility and the generating of robust decision-making information is the key to software solutions in the oil and gas industry today, and that’s what we hope to deliver with our cloud-based version of P1™ to Dana Gas,” AGR Software’s VP, Petter Mathisen, commented.
