Badawi Explores Collaborative Opportunities with UK Export Finance Agency

As part of his visit to the UK, Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, visited the headquarters of the UK Export Finance Agency in London, where he discussed potential cooperation opportunities in light of the agency’s global financing projects.

During the meeting, the CEO of the Export Finance Agency highlighted the projects implemented by the agency in the Middle East, demonstrating its capacity to launch new and flexible sources of commercial financing for pioneering initiatives worldwide.

Additionally, Badawi presented the promising investment opportunities within Egypt’s mining sector and outlined the measures taken to foster an attractive investment environment.

He also touched on value-added, energy efficiency and energy transition projects that the Agency can finance in cooperation with British companies in light of the Agency’s directions, which place sustainable projects at the top of its priorities.

 It is noteworthy that the UK Export Finance Agency is a credit agency affiliated with the UK government.
