Aramco Planning Supply Chain Forum for Saudi Energy Sector

Saudi Aramco announced that it will host a one-day invitation-only forum for key suppliers on December 1, 2015 in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, reported MENAFN .

The forum will introduce the company’s In-Kingdom Total Value Add (IKTVA) program and the contribution this will make to the Saudi energy sector and wider domestic economy in cooperation with its chain partners.

Vice President of Materials Supply at Saudi Aramco, Abdulaziz AbdulKarim, said: “Our goal is to ensure that we continue to develop a diverse, capable and highly-skilled supply-chain that continues to meet our business objectives and drive economic growth across the Kingdom.”

According to Trade Arabia the IKTVA program was developed by Saudi Aramco through consultation and collaboration with its national and international supply chain partners.

The forum will enable suppliers to understand the program’s business practices and supplier performance criteria that represents best practice and standards globally.
