African Dialogue Conference, CLIMATECH Challenge to Debut at EGYPES 2024

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, chaired the second meeting of the Supreme Organizing Committee for the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2024).

EGYPES 2024 will be held under the patronage of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi from February 19 to 21, 2024, under the theme ‘Driving Energy Transition, Security and Decarbonization’.

The meeting focused on evaluating the ongoing preparations and the diverse activities that the event will feature in its seventh edition as an oil and gas conference and its inaugural edition as a comprehensive conference encompassing all forms of energy.

Minister El Molla remarked that the evolving global landscape has ushered in significant transformations within the oil, gas, and broader energy sectors. He emphasized that the forthcoming edition of the conference will mark its evolution into a more inclusive platform encompassing the full spectrum of energy sources.

It is expected that the next edition of EGYPES will involve the participation of more than 35,000 participants, 500 exhibiting companies, 300 speakers, 2,200 delegation members, 15 international pavilions, and 120 participating countries. The exhibition will also feature two new events being held for the first time, namely the African Dialogue Conference and the CLIMATECH Challenge. This is in addition to the main activities of the conference, which give importance to the strategic, technical and financial and sustainability aspects of the energy sector. Over 85 specialized sessions are expected to take place in this edition of the event.
