Abu Dhabi Global Automation Conference Slotted for May

The ISA (International Society Of Automation) and DMS Global have joined hands to host the ISA Automation Conference and Exhibition Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) from May 26 to 27 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The event promises to be the only full-scale conference and tradeshow in the EMEA that will be dedicated for process and discrete automation, said the event organisers.

The event will focus on latest technologies in measurement and control through a two-day technical conference and product exhibition, they added.

Speaking at the signing ceremony in the US, Timothy Feldman, the director of Global Products & Services, said: “This conference will be a unique opportunity for local professionals involved in the automation field to learn, exchange experiences and network with peers from all over the world.”

The event will be attended by regional and international experts and decision makers, who will share their experiences, visions and solution to the challenges of measurement and control in complex industrial environments.

The two-day event will include a technical conference and exhibition.

Mohammed Loch, the president and chief executive of DMS Global, said: “There are many mega events in the energy sector that are too general. The events division of DMS Global aims to facilitate the gathering of industry leaders and experts for specific communities to give them more focus to achieve their objectives.”

“When it comes to automation there is no association greater than the International Society Of Automation (ISA) so we are thrilled at the opportunity to support them in promoting their field,” he stated.

According to him, the event promises to attract hundreds of delegates from various end user companies and vendors across the Middle East and beyond.

“It also offers a unique opportunity for automation professionals, equipment manufacturers and service providers to share and exchange, experience and explore the latest products and most recent innovations and technologies,” he added
