The electricity generation capacity across Egypt is currently stable with no power-cuts as power plants are constantly supplied with sufficient amount of natural gas and mazut.

Egypt Witness Electricity Surplus Up to 4,000MW

There was a surplus in electricity of 4,000 MW. This surplus will not increase after the inauguration of the first phase of the Siemens power plants in Beni Suef, the New Administrative Capital, and Borollos.
