The third LNG shipment was offloaded onto the floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) in Ain Sokhna.

The entire shipment will be fed into the natural gas national grid.

This comes as part of the petroleum sector’s attempts to meet electricity demands in preparation for the summer.
