Stoppage of Kurdish north oil exports confirmed

North Oil Company confirmed that the Kurdish government stopped exporting oil through the main Iraqi pipeline to Turkey.

The source told Aswat al-Iraq that the stoppage was due to political conflict.

Kurdish oil exports in March last reached to 50.000 b/d.

The Kurdish government announced yesterday night the halt of pumping till further notice, charging the central government for not paying the financial obligations to foreign companies.
