Saudi Aramco will soon finish the shale-production facilities it is building in northern Saudi Arabia, industry sources told Zawya.

The system is in its “final stages” and is nearing “mechanical completion,” according to one of Zawya’s sources. Production, according to a second source, will lag one to two months behind mechanical completion.

Called System A, the project includes gas-processing facilities, wellheads, and pipelines, Zawya reports.

In 2015, Saudi Aramco accepted bids for developing the facilities, according to Reuters. The facilities are located in Turaif.
