Saipem has secured a new offshore contract from Azule Energy Angola S.p.A. for the development of the Ndungu Field in Angola.
The contract, valued at approximately $850 million, is part of the Agogo Integrated West Hub Project and is a joint venture between Eni and BP.
According to the contract, Saipem will be responsible for the engineering, fabrication, transportation, and installation of approximately 60 km of rigid pipelines and subsea facilities at a depth of 1,100 meters.
Additionally, the company will also handle the transportation and installation of flexible flowlines, jumpers, and 17 km of umbilicals. These activities will be carried out at Saipem’s Ambriz yard in Angola.
To complete the offshore installation, Saipem will deploy its FDS vessel, which will be responsible for the transportation and laying of the rigid pipelines.
The award of this important project further consolidates Saipem’s positioning in Angola, both in deep waters and in shallow waters, through the provision of innovative and efficient solutions to reduce installation times, Saipem said in a press release.
