Russia’s Rosneft announced a new gas condensate discovery in the Yakutia region through one of its subsidiaries, Reuters reported.

The newly discovered gas field is estimated to have more than 40 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas and more than 2 million tons (mmt) of gas condensate.

No further information was provided.

Rosneft’s subsidiary Taas-Yuryakh Neftegazodobycha had made the discovery.
