Petroleum Products Consumption Drops by 11.82% YOY

Egypt’s consumption of petroleum products decreased by around 11.82% year-on-year (YOY) in February 2019 to 2.365 million tons, compared to 2.682 million tons in the same month last year, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

Data published by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) showed that petroleum product’s output slightly dropped by 0.3% from 2.554 million tons in February 2018 to 2.546 million tons in February 2019.

Egypt’s consumption of petroleum products fell by around 10.72% month-on-month, down from the 2.649 million tons in January 2019.
