Hany Mohamed, the Chairman of Petroleum Air Services (PAS), stated to Egypt Oil&Gas that the company is targeting an increase in its helicopter fleet to match the research and exploration in deep water, which represents the future of exploration in Egypt.
The company is also aiming to create a customer service center in Egypt in cooperation with Bell Helicopter company at Cairo international Airport. In efforts to reduce foreign currency spendings, the company is willing to increase the efficiency of repair workshops to conduct high quality aircraft maintenance services in Egypt rather than abroad.
Mohamed added that the current issued capital is $100m,which will be used for providing air transport services inside and outside Egypt using helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft in the field of air services for petroleum and mineral resources companies, public authorities, industrial and economic entities.
PAS is an airline based in Egypt. It provides oil industry support services and has extensive helicopter operations. The airline also operates commercial passenger services within Egypt and to regional cities.
