A consortium comprising Petroleum Projects and Technical Consultations Company (PETROJET) and The Engineering for the Petroleum and Process Industries Company (ENPPI) has secured a long-term Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Framework Agreement with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), the country’s largest oil and gas exploration and production company.

The six-year agreement positions the PETROJECT–ENPPI consortium as one of four international consortia and contractors qualified to compete for project execution through competitive tenders within a project portfolio valued at over $6 billion.

This achievement aligns with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources strategy to open the door for local oil and gas companies to expand into regional and international markets.

It also reflects coordination between Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and Oman’s Ministry of Energy and Minerals and the strong track record of companies like PETROJET and ENPPI to deliver mega projects to the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence.

In support of Oman’s In-Country Value (ICV) objectives, the consortium will focus on transferring knowledge and expertise, developing Omani engineering talent, and enhancing the participation of local companies and national supply chains.

Executing such projects will support sustainable economic development and align with the goals of Oman Vision 2040.

ENPPI is listed among international contractors in rankings published by the US-based Engineering News-Record (ENR). The Middle East Economic Digest (MEED) Projects, a prominent media and business intelligence company, has also ranked the company among Arab contractors operating in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and as one of the leading main contractors in the UAE.

The company executes turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction contracts for pipelines, gas plants, and refineries across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, and parts of Africa.

As a major international construction arm for oil, gas, and petrochemical infrastructure outside Egypt, PETROJET executes large-scale industrial projects, pipelines, and processing plants through its established branches in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Jordan, Algeria, Libya, and Iraq.
