The fuel supply and distribution situation in Abuja, Nigeria, and environs is gradually improving following the increase in truck out of fuel, from 186 to 240 trucks. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and its downstream subsidiary Nigerian Products Marketing Company (NPMC) said this supply will be sustained to ensure the queues completely fade away, All Africa reported.
The Corporation also said 12 cargoes laden with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), known as petrol, were discharged in Lagos, Calabar, and Port Harcourt ports.
It was also reported by Vanguard that more trucks were sent to Nassarawa, Kaduna, and Niger States to reduce the demand in Abuja, the NNPC Spokesman stated.
