A militant group, Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate, has issued a deadly warning to the federal government of Nigeria that, in a few days, refineries in the region will be destroyed, NAIJ.COM reported.

According to Vanguard, the threat pertains to a refinery in Eleme, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, as well as Warri refinery and the Utorogun gas plant in Otu-Jeremi in Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta Sate.

The group decried that government and oil companies have marginalized the people of the upland Niger Delta, where the largest and most critical oil assets are located, and have given multinational organizations a 48-hours to evacuate their personnel.

A spokesperson for Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate, Aldo Agbalaja, stated that the group is a coalition of forces across the Niger Delta region, fighting for the interest of the region.
