Egyptian Projects Operation & Maintenance (EPROM) has signed a cooperation agreement with Nigerian company NETCO Limited, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion strategy.

This partnership aims to strengthen ties between Egypt and Nigeria in the petroleum sector and paves the way for EPROM to establish a strong presence in the Nigerian and broader African markets.

The agreement also aligns with the directives of Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi, supporting the Ministry’s strategy to encourage petroleum sector companies to expand their international operations.

As part of the cooperation program, officials from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and a delegation of NETCO visited Middle East Oil Refinery (MIDOR), where they were received by Salah Gaber, Chairman and CEO of MIDOR, and other company officials.

The Nigerian delegation praised the cooperation between EBROM and MIDOR, as well as the operational efficiency and performance of EBROM at the MIDOR project, noting the company’s adherence to the highest international standards of safety and occupational health.

EBROM aims to expand its services regionally and globally, leveraging its expertise and qualified technical staff, under the patronage and support of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).

The contract was signed on the sideline of the MOC forum, at EBROM’s headquarters in the Petroleum Complex in Alexandria. The signing ceremony was attended by Salah El-Din Abdel Karim Awad, Chairman of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), Hossam Asaad is the Chairman and CEO of EPROM, Director of Refineries at NNPC, and a delegation from NETCO.
