Press Release: Egypt’s Oil Sector Gathers to Discuss Production Optimization

Egypt Oil & Gas is pleased to announce the largest oil and gas event of the year, the Production Optimization Convention—hosted from May 10 through May 13. The purpose of the four-day convention is to bring together government authorities, local, and foreign players in one place to discuss the economic barriers to optimizing production of crude oil and natural gas in Egypt.

With an aim to provide an environment that promotes the exchange of ideas, skills, and information, the convention is divided into a schedule with distinct categories. Day one will feature training courses run by respected players in the industry. These courses aim to update engineers on the new methods and technologies, giving them the skills necessary to compete in an increasingly complex business environment. Day two will feature a roundtable, providing industry leaders from both the public and private sector a voice to speak about the challenges and opportunities of optimizing production. This event will allow experts to meet one another and creatively discuss solutions in a public forum. Finally, days three and four will be composed of workshops designed to give attendees a chance to put their newly learned knowledge and skills into practice.

The event is supported by EGPC, EGAS, and Ganoupe, and is sponsored by Apache, BG, TransGlobe Energy, Enap Sipetrol, and others.

Further details will be published shortly.
