Egypt Responsible for LNG Price Increase
Asian liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices for December delivery rose this week as traders and energy companies moved to fill slots awarded to Egypt recently, reported Egypt Independent.
The price rose to $7.10 mmBtu, in comparison to $6.80 from that of last week.
Egypt awarded a 55 cargo tender last week to companies including Trafigura, Vitol, Noble Group, Gas Natural, PetroChina and Shell for deliveries starting before the end of the year.
