The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) have offered the first digital international bid round in 2021 for petroleum exploration and production (E&P) operations in 24 Blocks at the Gulf of Suez, Western Desert and the Mediterranean, a press release announced.

According to the statement, Egypt Upstream Gateway (EUG)  will provide virtual access to all data including information of the offered blocks on an interactive map, data room viewing, seismic surveys, subsurface insights and data packages. To participate in  the virtual bid round, companies should register as members through the EUG portal.

The statement mentioned that the closing date of the bid round will be on Sunday 1st of August 2021 at the midday.
