Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly discussed areas of cooperation with Siemens in the fields of transportation, renewable energy and technology, the cabinet said in a statement
This came during Madbouly’s visit to Germany where he met Cedrik Neike, a member of the Managing Board of Siemens, along with a number of company officials, German ministers, the Transport Minister, Kamel El Wazir, and the Egyptian Ambassador in Germany.
The meeting touched on the future cooperation between Egypt and Siemens in the transport sector, renewable energy, vocational training and tech-driven manufacturing.
The Prime Minister expressed Egypt’s appreciation for the constructive cooperation with Siemens, as Egypt looks forward to continuing the momentum in the partnerships with Siemens.In addition, El Wazir also encouraged the company to bid in future tenders for railway locomotives. ٍ
For his part, Neike confirmed his company’s pride and appreciation for cooperating with Egypt, and that Siemens looks forward to strengthening its cooperation with Egypt in new areas where there is a promising potential.
