Egypt’s diesel production decreased by 11.83% year-on-year (YOY) in March 2019, recording 529,000 tons, compared to 600,000 tons consumed in March 2018, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
Statistics published by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) revealed that the country’s diesel consumption increased by 2.22% in March 2019, recording 1.241 million tons, compared to 1.214 million tons consumed in the same month a year before.
On the other hand, monthly figures showed that diesel production grew by around 6.44% from 497,000 tons produced in February 2019. Yet, the country’s consumption increased by 11%, up from 1.118 consumed in February 2019.
