The second Energy Management Conference and Exhibition began in Bahrain on December 7th seeking to create a road map for a better management of region’s natural resources, reported Trade Arabia.

The conference is a platform for key energy consumers, producers, investors, and experts in the region, mindful of environmental concerns in shaping future energy policies in the Middle East.

According to a press release cited by Zawya, best practices in the energy sector, energy efficiency, renewables, private sector’s role, and climate change were among key topics discussed at the forum.

The conference was sponsored by the Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C (Alba), and came in the wake of the COP21 Paris climate change world summit.
