Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, has issued a resolution for the assignment and transfer of some senior employees and leaders at the ministry and its affiliated companies and authorities. This comes within the ministry’s strategy for promoting production and intensifying drilling and exploration programs to meet the local needs of petroleum products. To reach this goal, the minister meant to make the utmost utilization of the distinguished experts of the sector.
The new transformation and assignment movement included:
Ahmed Mohamed Ibrahim Abdu as Deputy Executive President for Agreements at the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and a member of the EGPC’s Executive Council.
Sherif El Shahawy El Sayed Mustafa was appointed as Assistant President for Exploration at Agiba Petroleum Company and a member of its Board of Directors.
Hany El Sayed Mustafa was appointed as Board Chairman of Shalateen Mineral Resources Company.
Amr Hassan Abdel Fattah Aliwa was appointed as Board Chairman of the Egyptian Company for Mineral Resources (ECMR).
Ashraf Marzouk Hemeida was appointed as the General Manager for Exploration at Belayim Petroleum Company (Petrobel) and a member of its Board of Directors.
Saeed Hanfy Mohamed was appointed as the General Manager for Exploration at Tharwa Petroleum Company.
Alaa Abdel Aziz Mohamed was assigned the role of Assistant to the President for Exploration at Rashid Petroleum Company (Rashpetco) and a member of its Board of Directors.
Alaa Ahmed Mohamed El Dakhakhni was assigned as Assistant to the President for Exploration at Esh El Mallaha Petroleum Company (Eshpetco) and a member of its Board of Directors.
Sadek Salem Sadek was assigned as Assistant to the President for Exploration and External Operations at the General Petroleum Company (GPC) and as a member of its Board of Directors.
Walid Afifi Mohamed Afifi was appointed as General Manager for Exploration and Development at Khalda Petroleum Company.
Ahmed Sami Mohamed was appointed as General Manager for Exploration at North Bahariya Petroleum Company (Norpetco) and a member of the Board of Directors.
Maher Eid Aayed was appointed as General Manager for Exploration at Petrosalam company and member of its Board of Directors.
Samir Nabil Abdel-Fattah Shehab Eldin was assigned the role of General Manager for Exploration at Western Desert Operating Petroleum Company (Wepco).
Mohamed Ali Mohamed Ismail Mekky was assigned the role of General Manager for Exploration at Petrobakr Petroleum Company and a member of its Board of Directors.
Khaled khalifa Hegazy Aly was appointed as General Manager for Exploration at South Dabaa Petroleum Company (Dapetco) and a member of its Board of Directors.
Mohamed Mohamed Abdelaziz Bayoumy was appointed as General Manager for Exploration at North Sinai Petroleum Company (NOSPCO) and a member of its Board of Directors.
