The AVEVA World 2026 Summit, underway in Milan, featured the launch of new technologies and the signing of key partnerships. Global software leader AVEVA and the Swedish multinational software company Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS) announced a technology partnership to help industrial organizations connect operational intelligence, enterprise execution, and strategic capital planning.

AVEVA CEO Caspar Herzberg and Mark Moffat, CEO of IFS introduced the first phase of this collaboration:  Continuous Asset Decision Intelligence (the integrated solution software). This software converts real-time operational data into automated maintenance, investment, and lifecycle decisions to eliminate guesswork for asset-intensive customers.

Concurrently, AVEVA collaborated with Snowflake, the AI Data Cloud company, to unify, govern, and activate data across information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) environments. The partnership builds a direct, zero-copy integration between AVEVA’s CONNECT platform and Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud.

This would allow customers to securely analyze industrial data without building complex, costly pipelines, reducing technical debt, and accelerating scalable industrial artificial intelligence (AI) adoption.

Additionally, AVEVA and Amazon Web Services (AWS) executed a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) to accelerate cloud-based industrial intelligence delivery. The agreement establishes a framework for joint technology development, go-to-market strategies, and global customer migrations. Under the terms, AVEVA will expand its CONNECT platform on AWS using Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, and Amazon EC2 to deliver public and private SaaS capabilities worldwide.

Held from May 19 to May 21, the AVEVA World 2026 summit serves as a global forum for industrial intelligence, uniting corporate executives, sector innovators, and technical practitioners to advance industrial AI, digital transformation, and sustainable practices.
