Mohamed Sobhi, Chairman of Amreya Petroleum Refining Company (APRC), presented the key results achieved during the fiscal year 2023/2024. He highlighted that the received quantities of crude oil were refined to produce diesel, butane, gasoline, kerosene, essential oils, and wax products.

This came during the general assembly meeting chaired by Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, to review the company’s performance in 2023/24.

During the meeting, Badawi emphasized the importance of maximizing the use of productive assets and optimizing unused capacities to create added value for the national economy. He stressed the need for developing feasible plans based on sound scientific principles.

Sobhi reviewed the technical procedures and projects undertaken by the company, which contributed to reducing energy consumption and associated emissions.

He also highlighted the progress made in implementing various digital transformation programs, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, linear programming in refineries, Radar Tank Gauge (RTG) systems, and laboratory management solutions.
