Apex Invests $46M in Western Desert

Apex International Energy is investing approximately $46 million in its concessions in the Western Desert, the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, noted during a meeting with Apex leadership, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

The company is drilling nine wells in the West Badr El Din and South East Meleha Concessions, according to El Molla.

Apex plans to apply its experience in exploration and production (E&P) to the development of the concessions, the CEO of Apex, Roger Plank, noted during the meeting.

The President of Apex Egypt, Thomas Maher, also attended the meeting. Apex is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company that focuses on Egypt.
