State-owned oil corporation Sonangol has opened a help desk specifically to assist foreign companies in bidding and operating in Angola, reported All Africa.
The desk is staffed with employees from all sectors of the company, and is located within company headquarters in Luanda. The desk will be open until September 18th, a deadline previously set for the most recent bid round.
Companies qualified to bid in the current round in the April of this year.
The current bid round is for ten blocks up for grabs in the Lower Congo and Cuanza River basins, noted Sonongal in a statement.
Sonangol is expecting to announce the winners of the bid round in late September.
