The Governor of Port Said, Adel Al-Ghadban, has met with several companies to review the latest developments of initiative to convert vehicles to run on natural gas, according to a statement
Al-Ghadban held a meeting with the Egyptian International Gas Technology (Gastec), Misr Petroleum, Natural Gas Vehicles Company (Car Gas), where he also reviewed the situation of gas stations in the governorate and directed to form a committee of the Civil Protection Department, Projects and Housing Department to identify the capacity of fuel stations and their ability to provide services for natural gas-based vehicles.
The governor stressed that car conversion project aims to provide services everywhere and provide optimum use of all fuel stations, taking into consideration the need to start developing larger fuel stations.
The Governor also called for increasing the capacity of natural gas stations to meet the citizens’ needs and to prevent overcrowding and congestion.
