The second day of the convention held a series of technical workshops, offering insights on wide-ranging topics, such as safety, platform priorities, operational efficiency and asset management. Each workshop included four presentations delivered by industry experts.

The first day of the convention was concluded by a technical workshop about the technologies and new scientific tools that create material value in brownfields along with some successful case studies.

Innovations in Applied Technologies

The second day of the convention included a workshop with five presentations on Innovations in Applied Technologies, and it was chaired by Colby Fuser, Vice President-Egypt and Libya at Halliburton.

Brownfields Infrastructure Management

Proceeding with the second day’s presentations, attendees were provided with another workshop, discussing infrastructure management in brownfields.

HS&E Culture and Behavior

The third workshop on the second day of the Upstream Technical Convention, entitled HS&E Culture and Behavior, offered five presentations on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).

EOG Upstream Convention: Technical Workshops Explore Unconventional Thinking for Production Enhancement

The EOG 2nd Upstream Operational Excellence Convention featured four technical workshops that were run by respected players in the industry and brought important updates on unconventional production enhancement; field best practices; new technologies; asset integrity; and health, safety, security, environmental and social awareness (HSSES).

Drivers of Greater Production: Efficiency in Operations

The Upstream Technical Convention offered its attendees a series of specialized workshops, tailored towards method of enhancing the yields of upstream operations. The first workshop addressed matters of “Efficiency in Operations,” beginning with a session focused on the effective use of upgrades, and two more centered on increased production and the optimization of specific operations, respectively.
