A preliminary data released from the South Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, showed that oil imports reduced 7.5% to 82.7 million barrels in December 2020 compared to 89.5 million barrels in the same month of the previous year.

China’s General Administration Customs data announced that the Imports of crude oil has risen to 11.04 million barrels per day (mmbbl/d) during November, compared to 10.02 mmbbl/d in October.

The President of Petroleum Association, Tsutomu Sugimori said that Japan’s crude oil imports is expected to remain at the current tepid pace until the end of 2020, after it reached the lowest monthly level in July due to the spread of pandemic which had slashed domestic oil demand.
