Spanish wind power giant, Gamesa, has secured two contracts to build two wind farms in Egypt’s Gabbal El Zayt region, along the Red Sea coastline, featuring a combined capacity of 160 MW.
Gamesa will deliver 100 of its G80-2.0 MW wind turbines to the New & Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) for a total of 200 MW of wind projects in the Gulf of El-Zayt on Egypt's Red Sea coast.
