Egypt is currently developing incentive packages for investment in green hydrogen projects, positioning the country to play a pivotal role in the global hydrogen economy. The aim is to target around 8% of the global hydrogen market, with an estimated production of 10 million tons per year (t/y) in the coming decades. Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi stated that during the opening ministerial session of the 4th Oman Green Hydrogen Summit.
