WorleyParsons has won a contract from Saudi Aramco to curry engineering and design work for offshore facilities and pipelines for the expansion of the Saudi Marjan oil field, according to Reuters.
In the light of the new contract, WorleyParsons is expected to develop platforms and additional pipelines to be linked to a new gas facility in Tanajib on the Gulf coast, and from Tanajib to the expanded natural gas liquid (NGL) facility in Khursaniyah, Zawya informed.
In related news, Amec Foster Wheeler won a five-year contract to deliver the pre-feed, feed and other support services for an additional 300,000b/d oil and gas separation train.
