VAALCO Energy has announced the appointment of Iman Hill as the company’s Country Manager in Egypt.
Hill brings three decades of extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Her career has been marked by several high-profile roles, including senior executive roles at Shell International, VP Africa for Sasol, Technical Director and GM UAE & President Egypt at Dana Gas, and Chief Operating Officer at Energean.
Her most recent role as Chief Executive Officer at The International Oil and Gas Producers Association means that she also brings the latest industry expertise on a broad range of areas including safety, operational excellence, production optimization and emissions management and decarbonization, the company said in a statement.
“The blend of operational expertise, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of the regional and political dynamics affecting our industry, as well as her proven track record of leadership and success in similar roles makes Iman an excellent fit for guiding our Egypt operations to the next level.
