Tullow, alongside its joint venture partners Kosmos Energy, Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, Petro SA and Jubilee Oil Holdings, announced that the successful commence of the Jubilee South East (JSE) Project at offshore Ghana, the company said in a statement.
The first well of the project been brought onstream and a further two producers and one water injector are expected onstream during 2023 seeking to keep production level over 100,000 barrels per day (b/d).
Tullow and its partners intend to maintain this production level at Jubilee over the next few years through an ongoing infill drilling program, the company said. It added that they have invested c.$1 billion over the last three years on the JSE Project to drill wells and install the infrastructure needed to bring previously undeveloped reserves to production.
