TransGlobe Energy Corporation announced production rates of 13,851 barrels per day (b/d) of oil from its Egyptian fields during the second quarter of 2017, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
The company sold around 302,648 barrels of crude oil to the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) during the second quarter for $12.5 million.
TransGlobe drilled two exploration wells and three development wells in Egypt during the same period. The drilling produced two oil wells, K-47 and NWG 38A, and three dry holes.
It also finished drilling and casing the Boraq 5 well, located in the South Alamein Egyptian concession.
