Coordination is underway between the two sides, Egyptian and Japanese, on energy, health and education projects that will be signed during Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s visit to Tokyo next month, informed sources told Al Mal. 

Sources at Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)  said that two projects have been agreed upon, namely the electricity distribution companies network, through a soft loan worth about  $200m (JPY 24b).

The president will also sign a soft loan for the expansion of Burj Al Arab Airport, equivalent to EGP .
