Sirte Oil Company has announced the successful drilling for its exploratory well, J3 – NC101 which achieved encouraging results after completing its drilling at depth of 7833 feet.

According to Libya’s National Oil Company (NOC) statement, the well achieved flow rates of 560 barrels per day  (b/d) of oil and it is expected to increase after replacing the low rate pumper with another high one. 

Additionally, the company stated that it has finalized the its work at the developmental well C347-6 located at Zelenskyy field  achieving flow rates of 1,100 b/d. 

These results came as part of NOC’s strategy to raise the production rates of crude oil.
