Shell resumed the gasoline, and diesel producing units on March, 15 at its 318,000 barrels per day (bbl/d) at Deer park, a joint venture refinery, in Texas, according to Reuters.
The 70,000 bbl/d of gasoline producing fluidic catalytic cracker (FCC) and 67,000 bb/d of diesel producing hydrocracker were shut on February, 15 due to the severe cold weather.
It is worth noting that the Deer Park refinery is a 50-50 joint venture between Shell and Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex), Mexico’s national oil company and Shell is the managing partner.
